Pasta Carbonara







Ingredients

6 pieces of short bacon
1 cup of chopped mushrooms
1 onion finely chopped
1 tsp of chicken stock powder
400g bottle of cream
1 tsp minced garlic
Gluten Free pasta


Method 


  • Put a pot of hot water on the stove to boil.  Once boiling add pasta (quantity and type to your liking).  Leave to cook.

  • Chop bacon, onion and mushrooms, place in a fry pan until sautéed with the garlic.
  • Add cream and chicken stock powder and allow to simmer
  • When the past is cooked, drain in the sink and rinse under hot tap water.  Then add to the sauce mix and stir through.  Serve with grated parmesan cheese.


# For an alternative add diced chicken
